Tired Touring Tandems and Yellow Submarines

A few sleepy heads this morning and a few sore heads... but as you can see from the smiling sunshine faces another tandemfest, ready and raring to go....

Again we sacrificed scenery for road surface, believe me through this week we've become experts in the levels of tarmacadam on roads, or should we say.. "lack of tarmac"! We soldiered on, thank good for padded cycling shorts....

We had a few new Tandem Pilots in Training today also, Brendan, Dave, and Karol ( okay so Karol not so novice) With that we also had some super support, Saul "Lead Out Man" Synott.... as you can see from the picture below, Saul was looking for some extra fuel

Today's route brought us to Donegal Town where we met with some other 99ers' and some members of the Irish Guide Dogs Fundraising team in Donegal... it was great to see Roisin and Kerry back again, hopefully next year you'll both be back on the bikes.. (put support is appreciated too ;) )

Another pit stop for lunch, in Biddy O' Barnes, pictured here all fed and ready to go for the final 35km to home for the evening Letterkenny... we boarded our trusty steads, and Team "Yellow Submarine" were homeword bound...

Thomas Langan pictured here on the right, today we were Team Langan, all aboard the "Yellow Sub"

Another brilliant day,
run ever so smoothly by our marshals once again,
and they didn't even get grumpy with us... see smiles all around....
